This tells the story of an ordinary girl who defies bigamy in search of freedom

Neil Mach’s latest book features an ordinary girl attempting to break the cycle of bigamy for a chance at freedom.

Maddie, a call-taker trapped in a monotonous ho-hum job, uncovers something unexpected when a client’s wife contacts her call-centre to make a claim, but the client himself cancels the exact same claim the following day.

What prompted the man to behave that way? What’s going on?

Maddie grows curious about the policyholder’s double life and ponders his motives & mindset...

Delving deeper into the man’s deceit, Maddie recognizes parallels with her own father’s conduct. It soon becomes apparent that the falsehoods, misrepresentations, and obvious infidelities of both men expose an intricate network of lies.

What motivates their duplicity?

The falsehoods & infidelities expose a network of lies

Maddie concedes that trust issues can negatively affect romantic relationships. She learns that wives & daughters are treated as mere objects in polygamous and bigamous relationships. It soon becomes clear she needs to unhook herself from the pernicious cycle of bigamy. And if there are other girls involved, she ought to try to free them too!

As Maddie gathers more incriminating evidence against the policyholder and her father, she grapples with a moral dilemma: should she expose their misdeeds, break away from their deceptions, and alert their victims? Or would it be kinder to forgive these men, thus preventing further agony for their other wives and daughters?
