Are you an indie author looking for a way to promote your book?
Why not do an interview with me?
I am a seasoned podcaster with over twelve years journalistic experience, and I'm a cheerful professional author with over twenty books to my name (so you'll be chatting peer-to-peer with someone who has been through the same challenges!)
I'd love to discuss your project with you...
There are no strings attached to my offer. The cost is free. I just want to give independent authors a chance to promote their books.

Whether novice, amateur, or even a bestselling indie author, your audience wants to learn about your experiences, anecdotes, ideas, and best practices. Most of all, they want to hear about your new book!
Are you an indie author looking for a way to promote your book?
This is a fantastic chance to discuss your latest project, unveil a book, or promote recent work.
Don’t worry if this will be your first audio interview because I am a hospitable and welcoming listener. I will simplify things for you, enabling you to deliver clear and effective messages to a wider audience.
To ace your audio interview, follow these tips:
Find a quiet spot and let everyone know you need 30 minutes hush
Turn off noisy appliances such as washing machines, fans, AC units, phones, TV's, and alarms
Keep a bottle or mug of water nearby to rinse your mouth and stay hydrated
Relax! Don’t rush your answers; you’re the authority on your life. This is easy-street
Inject energy and charisma into a monotonous voice with smiles and hand gestures
However, when using hand gestures, avoid striking the table or nearby objects!
If you’re having a rough day, reschedule the interview, no problems
Ask the interviewer for help if you think you need it; Neil will adjust to your needs and address your concerns

A little nervousness is normal, don’t fret—just chat!
There will be no trick questions; the interviewer won’t try to catch you out. Ever!
Expect easy questions and friendly conversation
Occasionally, your response might seem (to you) inaccurate or ‘wonky’; you are free to ask Neil if you want another try at providing an answer. Bloopers can be 'edited' out!
If you think you made a blooper, gaffe, or error, just mention it—we'll edit it away
If the interviewer hasn’t asked a question that you’re keen to discuss, just tell him, and he'll happily cover the point you want to make
The interviewer will be chatting with you about your new book or your latest project, so be ready to promote yourself enthusiastically and try think about perfecting your elevator pitch
Anticipate listener purchase inquiries; you'll be asked to provide quick links to your book(s)
You’ll be exhausted but exhilarated after an interview, it takes a lot of energy. We recommend you include some rest time in your schedule right after you've done it
The interview’s relaxed format will help you unwind.
Expect a sudden beginning; the interviewer will likely jump straight in!
You’ll first be asked a mundane question: what’s the weather like? What are you doing? How was your recent vacation?
To make a good impression, our interviewer likes to use video so he can make eye contact with you. Rest assured, only the audio, not the video, is shared
Don’t worry if you’re new to video calling; the interviewer will understand and he'll be patient
Look inside yourself for answers that could: a) unveil a bit of your inner self b) show a philosophy or belief you hold dear
We’ll edit your interview (afterwards) to remove any mistakes, bloopers, and blemishes, but your answers will remain untouched unless you request otherwise
Contact the interviewer immediately if you have questions, doubts, or regrets. Any unsatisfactory answers will be edited out, per your request.
Once it's published, we suggest you share your interview across all your social media platforms and tell your friends, family and followers!
Good luck!
Have a great time! Get involved! Tell your story!
